PATRICK WOLF "THE MAGIC POSITION"

Paper Route - Additions Remix EP

Paper Route - Are We All Forgotten

Paper Route takes elements of classic Americana with modern programming and electronica to the next level with their new EP Are We All Forgotten. The band takes reflective, moody tones and pairs them with soaring vocals and powerful pop melodies that linger and haunt. Self-produced and mixed at Bottom Bunk Studios in their hometown of Nashville, these songs reflect their growth and talent as songwriters, musicians, and a band. Songs like "You Kill Me," "American Clouds," and the title track “Are We All Forgotten” all show their gravity towards the epic. Are We All Forgotten takes some sonic risks and pulls it off with a solid framework of five well-crafted songs.

Patrick Wolf - The Magic Position

Patrick Wolf makes a statement even before he opens his mouth – his style and performance is on par with his music. His third album, The Magic Position, is by far Wolf's 'pop' moment. With songs like "Get Lost," "Accident and Emergency," and the title track all emphasize new levels of musicianship. Hints of the old Wolf are present in the eclectic choice of instrumentation and arrangements. For all the pop-perfect tracks there's a hint of raw darkness ("Bluebell") casual introspection ("Augustine") or the rock-tronica ("The Stars"). The Magic Position is nonetheless Patrick Wolf's most accomplished work to date.
